An online meeting was held on June 18, 2025 with Dr. Dina Bell, oncologist at Douala General Hospital, during which we presented the CAFHOMEC project and requested the hospital’s support. The discussion focused on: (1) applying our mathematical models to optimize cervical cancer care resource allocation, (2) identifying critical missing data (treatment pathways, costs), and (3) addressing modeling challenges. Dr. Bell expressed strong interest in our work and committed to facilitating data access and providing ongoing guidance for our students’ research. This collaboration ensures our analytical tools remain grounded in clinical realities while benefiting from expert validation to improve cervical cancer management in resource-limited settings.
